A Study in History–Undergraduate Studio II

This project focuses on the fundamental ideas of form and design principles governing style in a chosen design and/or art movement. The students are required to design an informational guide on a style in a design or art movement. A work plan is developed for the project that will involve a proposal and an outline. Information gathering and research should be followed by content development and collecting of images from the selected style. Copy and visuals are integrated into a dummy for the project which contains all of the required contents. Roughs will be developed and refined to the state of a high quality finished piece. The final deliverable is of the student’s own choosing, just as long as it supports all of the written content and the required elements.
